# Attensive

Attensive is AI vision software for logistics and physical operations. It turns standard facility camera feeds into measurements and operational events. Where fixed cameras do not reach, the Attensive mobile app can cube packages from a standard smartphone.

Attensive is operated by Demist AI, Inc.

## What Attensive does

Attensive analyzes video from cameras that are already installed at docks, conveyors, receiving areas, staging zones, and storage areas. The platform can produce parcel dimensions, cubic volume, trailer fill, load and unload events, inventory-zone occupancy, pallet movement, throughput, exceptions, and annotated evidence.

The goal is to give operations teams useful physical-world data without adding a new hardware system at every line, door, or site.

## Conveyor parcel dimensioning

Attensive measures parcels as they move along a conveyor. A standard overhead or angled camera can provide:

- Parcel counts
- Length, width, and height
- Cubic volume
- Throughput
- Oversized parcel flags
- Confidence information
- Annotated clips for review

This workflow is intended for parcel carriers, eCommerce fulfillment operations, 3PL sort lines, and high-volume distribution centers. It can support billing review, capacity planning, exception handling, and carrier disputes.

## Mobile parcel cubing

Attensive can cube a package from a standard smartphone. A user takes a guided short video or photo of the package. The result can include:

- Length, width, and height
- Cubic volume
- Dimensional weight
- AWB or shipment linkage
- Measurement confidence
- Photo evidence

Mobile cubing is useful at receiving doors, pickup locations, returns, spot checks, partner sites, and other places without a fixed camera or dimensioning station.

## Dock monitoring and trailer fill

Attensive uses cameras at dock doors and trailer openings to track what is loaded and unloaded. It can measure:

- Loaded and unloaded freight events
- Cubic volume moved into and out of a trailer
- Net trailer fill
- Throughput
- Activity and idle time by dock door
- Risk that a trailer will leave below its fill target
- Annotated evidence for load events

This workflow is intended for parcel hubs, 3PL docks, beverage distribution centers, ports, terminals, and warehouse operators.

## Inventory visibility

Attensive monitors receiving, staging, storage, returns, and other facility zones from existing cameras. It can provide:

- Zone occupancy
- Pallet and freight movement
- Misplaced freight alerts
- Capacity alerts
- WMS task reconciliation
- Annotated clips for movement and occupancy changes

The platform provides zone-level visibility. It is not a replacement for every item-level inventory record in a WMS.

## Workflow and labor productivity

Attensive can measure the physical flow around tasks that WMS and labor systems already record. Examples include dwell time, idle doors, equipment activity, zone throughput, bottlenecks, and movement between zones.

The product is designed around aggregate operational metrics, not individual worker scoring. Attensive does not use facial recognition or capture audio.

## Robotics perception

Attensive can provide warehouse robotics and automation systems with parcel dimensions, position, orientation, scene context, and pickability signals. Results can be sent to robot fleets, warehouse control systems, or integrator software through an API.

## How deployment works

1. Attensive connects to existing IP camera feeds, typically through RTSP.
2. The relevant scenes and workflows are configured and calibrated.
3. Measurements, events, and exceptions are delivered to the Attensive platform and the customer's systems.

Attensive can run alongside existing VMS and NVR products. The security recording setup does not need to be replaced.

## Integrations

Attensive can connect with:

- Camera and video systems through RTSP and ONVIF
- Warehouse management systems
- Transportation management systems
- ERP platforms
- BI and analytics tools
- Data warehouses

Delivery methods include REST APIs, webhooks, and CSV/SFTP exports.

## Evidence and accuracy

Measurements and exceptions can remain linked to an annotated image or video clip. This allows operators to review what happened instead of relying on a number without context.

Accuracy depends on the workflow, camera position, calibration, lighting, package type, and capture quality. Attensive validates a customer's footage and workflow before deployment. Trade-legal billing and certified rating may have separate requirements.

## Privacy

Attensive is designed to measure freight, equipment activity, and operational flow. It does not use facial recognition or audio capture. Retention, data residency, private-network relay, and edge-processing options depend on the deployment.

## Pricing and evaluation

Mobile dimensioning is $199 per device per month (3-device minimum). Facility camera pricing starts at $1,500 per site per month for up to five cameras and one workflow. Enterprise pricing depends on sites, cameras, workflows, throughput, integrations, security requirements, and support.

Potential customers can request a customized mobile dimensioning trial. Attensive configures the app for the customer's workflow and devices, then provides private access for testing. Fixed-camera buyers can also arrange a secure footage evaluation before a larger rollout.

## Common questions

### What is parcel dimensioning?

Parcel dimensioning measures a package's length, width, and height.

### What is parcel cubing?

Parcel cubing uses length, width, and height to calculate cubic volume and often dimensional weight.

### Does Attensive require a scan tunnel?

No scan tunnel is required for Attensive's camera-based parcel measurement workflows. The right solution depends on the accuracy, certification, and operational requirements of the use case.

### Does Attensive replace the existing VMS or NVR?

No. Attensive can read the same standard camera feeds while the existing security recording system remains in place.

### Can Attensive work from a phone?

Yes. Mobile cubing uses a standard smartphone capture to measure a package where fixed cameras are not available.

### Can Attensive support certified billing?

Trade-legal billing has certification requirements that vary by market and workflow. Attensive should be evaluated against those requirements before being used for certified rating.
